Tullow Oil in talks with Indian groups over Kenyan project

– Executives from Tullow Oil held talks with India’s ONGC Videsh Ltd in Nairobi this week because the London-based agency seeks a strategic investor for its onshore oil undertaking in Kenya, the corporate mentioned on Saturday.

A senior official at Kenya’s Ministry of Petroleum and Mines tweeted earlier this week that ministry officers had met the Indian Excessive Commissioner to Kenya together with representatives of ONGC Videsh, the abroad funding arm of Oil and Pure Fuel Corp, and Indian Oil Company Restricted.

“The assembly was constructive and the events agreed to carry additional discussions within the coming weeks,” Africa-focused Tullow mentioned in a tweet concerning the assembly, including that the talks had been hosted by the ministry of petroleum and mines.
