Seth Meyers Shares His Favorite Part From Trump's 'Embarrassing Outtakes'

Seth Meyers has chosen his favourite second from the “embarrassing outtakes” former President Donald Trump filmed the day after his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol.

The Jan. 6 committee aired a never-before-seen video Thursday of Trump recording a scripted handle on Jan. 7, 2021 in regards to the violence. In it, Trump refused to acknowledge the 2020 election was over, softened the language condemning the rioters and repeatedly fumbled over phrases, together with at one level when he stated: “‘Yesterday’ is a tough phrase for me.”

“Actually, the phrase yesterday is a tough phrase? It’s three syllables. Possibly ‘yesterday’ is tough for him as a result of he doesn’t perceive the idea. He actually has no reminiscence of something that occurred greater than 5 minutes in the past,” Meyers stated on “Late Evening” Monday.

“I believe my favourite a part of that sequence of clips is that this transfer he does when he screws up. He seems like he’s surrounded by a swarm of invisible bees,” Meyers added, mimicking Trump’s windmilling hand motions. “Does he suppose he can actually combat off the phrase along with his naked fingers? ‘Maintain that three syllable phrase away or I’ll need to karate chop it.’”
