In Rwanda, he may also increase the “wrongful detention” of U.S. everlasting resident Paul Rusesabagina, the division stated.

Rusesabagina, 67, was sentenced in September 2021 to 25 years in jail over eight terrorism prices tied to a company against Rwandan President Paul Kagame’s rule. He has denied all the fees and refused to participate within the trial that he and his supporters have referred to as a political sham.
