TUNIS – Tunisian judges determined to increase their nationwide strike for a fourth week in protest towards a choice by President Kais Saied to sack dozens of them, a joint assertion by the judges unions within the nation stated on Saturday.
It stated the fourth week of the strike will begin on June 27.
Saied dismissed 57 judges on June 1, accusing them of corruption and defending terrorists – expenses that the Tunisian Judges’ Affiliation stated have been largely politically motivated.
