Shell says it has not agreed to Gazprom's new payment terms

LONDON – Shell mentioned on Tuesday it has not agreed to arrange a rouble account below new fee phrases by Russian fuel big Gazprom to proceed supplying Europe.

“Shell has not agreed to new fee phrases set out by Gazprom, together with the creation of Ok (roubles) accounts,” it mentioned in an announcement. “We'll work to proceed supplying our clients in Europe by means of our various portfolio of fuel provide.”

Earlier, Gazprom mentioned it might lower off fuel flows to Denmark’s Orsted and to Shell for its contract to provide fuel to Germany, after each corporations didn't make funds in roubles.
