PARIS – French carmaker Renault is teaming up with software program firm Atos, the businesses stated on Tuesday, to gather and analyse knowledge in a “strategic collaboration” which Renault stated would lead to price financial savings.
Renault and Atos stated their knowledge partnership would enable producers to gather and construction knowledge from industrial tools at scale to enhance operational excellence and product high quality.
“Renault Group is already saving 80 million euros per 12 months and goals to deploy this resolution throughout the rest of its 35 crops, connecting over 22,000 items of apparatus, by 2023 to generate financial savings of 200 million euros ($211.5 million) per 12 months,” the corporate stated.
