NATO's eastern flank nations demand better protection against 'Russian threats'

9 NATO nations on the jap flank of the alliance held talks in Romania on Friday forward of a key NATO summit later this month.

Some leaders are urging NATO to extend safety for them in gentle of Russia's conflict in Ukraine.

The 9, together with Romania, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.say they hope to forge a united voice throughout the 30-member alliance.  

"The consequence we're aiming for is a consolidated, united, coherent, strong and sustainable NATO presence on the jap flank, particularly within the Black Sea, essentially the most uncovered to the Russian threats," stated Romanian President Klaus Iohannis.
