Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) admitted Friday that arming fetuses simply wouldn’t work.
She was responding to a baiting comment by Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) as the 2 argued at a Home Guidelines Committee assembly in regards to the Second Modification and personal armed militias.
“Do you assume the scholars must be armed?” Raskin requested her.
“I believe kids must be educated with firearms,” Greene replied. “I undoubtedly do. I believe that’s essential.”
“To allow them to repel somebody who is available in” to a college? Raskin requested.
“I mentioned I consider kids must be educated with firearms so that they perceive easy methods to use them and perceive the security,” Greene answered.
She then veered right into a rant about abortion.
“Abortion kills infants!” she mentioned. “We’re speaking about youngsters being killed; abortion kills harmless kids. They'll’t shield themselves in any respect from this horrific process.”
“Sounds such as you need to arm them,” Raskin cracked.
“That’s unattainable,” she replied, utterly severely. “That’s unattainable, Mr. Raskin.”
