Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez(D-N.Y) on Sunday stated some conservative Supreme Courtroom justices who struck down federal abortion protections final week needs to be impeached for “mendacity below oath” throughout their affirmation hearings. (Watch the video beneath.)
Ocasio-Cortez stated on “Meet the Press” that Donald Trump-nominated justices misled lawmakers on abortion rights. These justices turned essential to the courtroom’s 6-3 conservative majority that “dramatically overreached its authority,” she stated.
“It is a disaster of legitimacy and President Biden should handle that,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.
