LONDON – A British lawmaker from Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Conservative Celebration has been arrested on suspicion of rape and different sexual offences, the Solar newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The unnamed lawmaker was held over offences dedicated between 2002 and 2009 in London, the paper stated quoting police. The Metropolitan Police didn't instantly reply to a request for remark.
A spokesperson for the Conservative whips workplace, which accountable for social gathering self-discipline in parliament, stated the lawmaker had been instructed to keep away from the parliamentary property whereas the investigation passed off.
