MIAMI (AP) — “The Best Present on Earth” is making a comeback — with out animal acts — 5 years after shutting down its three-ring circus, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey introduced Wednesday.
The interactive, dwell present will launch in September 2023, celebrating performers from all over the world “displaying unbelievable feats that push the bounds of human potential,” the Florida-based firm stated in a information launch.
A worldwide expertise search seeks acts to carry the 360-degree present to life as a novel interactive expertise for every viewers, the corporate stated.
Rehearsals are set to start June 23 for a 50-city North American tour.
The circus ended its 146-year run in January 2017 when ticket gross sales declined after clients turned conflicted about animal acts, and dear courtroom battles with animal rights activists led to the top of elephant acts in 2016. Officers hinted on the comeback final October.
