Girls’ education campaigner Malala Yousafzai wins 2022 Cannes LionHeart Award

Ladies’ training rights activist and Nobel prize winner Malala Yousafzai has been honoured with the 2022 LionHeart award on the Cannes Lions Worldwide Pageant of Creativity. 

The prize acknowledges an individual who has harnessed their place to make a constructive change on the planet.

Pakistan-born Malala Yousafzai turned a worldwide icon after being shot within the head by the Taliban in 2012 when she was 15.
