Watch Cleveland Player Challenge Heckler To Hit Him Before Trash-Throw Incident

Trash discuss preceded trash-throwing throughout a weekend sport between the Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees, video making the rounds on Monday revealed. (Watch it under.)

The clip confirmed a Yankees fan heckling the Guardians as personnel tended to injured outfielder Steven Kwan in proper discipline at Yankee Stadium on Saturday.

“Keep down, boy,” the fan might be heard yelling, though it's unclear whom he's addressing. He then appeared to repeatedly goad the opposite Guardians outfielders, Oscar Mercado and Myles Straw, to “get mad.”

Straw took the bait and climbed the outfield wall, telling the fan to his face: “Hit me, motherfucker.”

Later, after Straw and Mercado tried to chase down what turned out to be the game-winning hit by the Yankees’ Gleyber Torres, followers pelted the 2 with particles and it saved coming. Even an umpire acquired hit whereas making an attempt to intervene.

“Worst fan base on the planet,” Straw mentioned afterward.

The Yankees beefed up safety for Sunday’s sport.

As of the weekend, no spectators had been disciplined, the New York Submit reported. As a result of the incident unfolded as many have been leaving the stadium, figuring out the offenders was tough, the group informed the tabloid.
