UK stepping up sanctions and military support for Ukraine, PM Johnson says

LONDON – British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated “despicable assaults in opposition to civilians” in Bucha and Irpin close to Kyiv have been proof that Russia was committing battle crimes in Ukraine, and that Britain would step up sanctions and navy assist in response.

“I'll do all the pieces in my energy to starve (Russian President Vladimir) Putin’s battle machine,” Johnson stated in an announcement on Sunday.
