Seth Meyers has discovered the “even dumber” a part of Donald Trump’s lawsuit deposition through which he expressed fears of being struck by killer fruit hurled by protesters.
On Thursday’s “Late Evening,” the comic highlighted the previous president’s testimony in a civil lawsuit filed by activists who allege they have been attacked by his safety guards. Trump defined that he “needed to have folks be prepared as a result of we have been placed on alert that they have been going to do fruit.”
“What do you imply ‘do fruit’?” requested Meyers. “What do you imply you have been placed on alert? There’s an alert system for fruit?”
“It’s just like the Homeland Safety menace degree,” he added. “Pink is tomato, yellow is for banana and inexperienced is for avocado and you recognize what they are saying, for those who get hit with an avocado, you’re toast!”
