Oxford Cannabinoid shareholders reject investor call to overhaul board

– Britain’s Oxford Cannabinoid Applied sciences mentioned on Wednesday shareholders rejected all resolutions put ahead by its third-largest investor to oust the pharmaceutical firm’s chief govt officer and overhaul the board.

Majority of shareholders who voted at a gathering of London-listed Oxford Cannabinoid turned down GHS Capital’s proposals. The British firm’s former non-executive director Gavin Sathianathan serves as the highest boss of U.S.-based GHS.

Sathianathan in February had known as for the elimination of six of Oxford Cannabinoid’s administrators, together with CEO John Lucas and Chair Julie Pomeroy, and requested for the corporate to nominate new members.
