French police have arrested a person on suspicion of leaving a selfmade explosive machine exterior a cathedral in Toulouse.
Authorities evacuated the Saint-Etienne Cathedral on Friday after a suspect entered throughout Morning Mass and left a suspicious bundle.
French Inside Minister Gerald Darmanin mentioned the bundle was an "improvised explosive machine" that didn't have a detonator and did not explode.
Darmanin confirmed on Twitter that the machine had been neutralised and there have been "no casualties".
"Because of the speedy intervention of the demining providers, the police operation in Toulouse is over," he mentioned.
