Compensation of Stellantis boss "not normal", French government says

PARIS – French authorities spokesman Gabriel Attal stated on Wednesday that the monetary compensation in direction of Stellantis Chief Govt Carlos Tavares was not “regular” and confirmed there was a necessity for extra regulation on the European stage.

Tavares’ 2021 pay of round 19 million euros, including to a inventory bundle value some further 32 million euros and long-term compensation of some 25 million euros, in keeping with investor Phitrust, has sparked an issue in France forward of the Peugeot maker’s annual shareholder assembly.

“Clearly these are usually not regular figures,” Attal advised a information convention.
