France's Macron welcomes UK decision to allow more Ukraine refugees

VERSAILLES, France – French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed a brand new system introduced by the British authorities to permit extra Ukrainians to enter the nation, saying French criticism was bearing fruit.

“I welcome the British shift, which reveals there was an issue, regardless of what was being mentioned,” Macron informed reporters in Versailles close to Paris.

“I believe no person would have understood that regardless of all of the grand statements we did collectively, the British authorities continued to use present guidelines that meant they didn't welcome Ukrainian refugees who needed to succeed in British soil.”

France and Britain engaged in a diplomatic spat over the therapy of Ukrainian refugees caught within the French port of Calais final week. Britain mentioned a system to streamline refugee requests can be put in place subsequent week.
