– The US has imposed restrictions on importation of sure classes of Afghan archaeological and ethnological materials into the U.S., the State Division mentioned on Tuesday.
“These import restrictions are supposed to forestall illicitly trafficked supplies from getting into the U.S. artwork market, thus decreasing the inducement for pillage of Afghanistan’s cultural heritage and combating revenue from the sale of those cultural objects by terrorists and prison organizations”, the State Division mentioned in a press release.
