A Russian painter has been arrested for creating an set up within the form of big excrement close to a memorial within the middle of Saint Petersburg, police introduced on Monday.
A resident of Moscow, born in 1992, was "arrested (...) on suspicion of desecration in Saint Petersburg", a spokesman for the native police informed AFP.

"An investigation for insulting the lifeless and the burial locations has been opened," he stated.
Such an offence is punishable in Russia by 5 years in jail.
