SAOPAULO – Brazilian retailer Americanas SA mentioned on Wednesday it's step by step resuming its e-commerce operations after struggling an internet break-in in the course of the weekend, including that there isn't any proof of its database being compromised after the incident.
Shares within the firm rose 4.7% to 31.19 reais instantly after it launched a securities submitting on the matter. Americanas was the highest gainer on Brazil’s Bovespa inventory index, which was up 0.5%.
