MPS and charities yesterday accused Boris Johnson of “physique shaming” after he cracked a cake joke at PMQs.
SNP chief Ian Blackford made a partygate jibe to the PM, saying an impending Nationwide Insurance coverage hike “hangs like a guillotine whereas they eat cake”.
To laughter, the PM replied: “I don’t know who has been consuming extra cake.”
