A missing man who had last been seen in the center has been located, Toronto police have announced.
Manuel Bettencourt, 76, had last been seen near Jarvis and Shuter streets at 6 p.m. 20.20 on 27 December.
On December 31, police announced he was located and thanked the public for assassinating with the search.
Police remind the public that a person can be reported missing at any time, there is no mandatory 24-hour waiting period.
“If you are concerned about someone’s immediate safety, call 911. Otherwise, you can report a person missing to the Toronto Police Service by calling the non-emergency number, 416-808-2222.”
