‘Bomb threat’ at Doja Cat concert in Indianapolis leaves fans terrified as man ‘claims to have explosives’

Following the incident, the official Twitter account of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Division (IMPD) tweeted: "IMPD has arrested a person who was attempting to get by the safety line for AT&T's Playoff Playlist Stay at Monument Circle.

"Close by witnesses instructed police the person mentioned he had an explosive on him.

"IMPD officers responded, searched his bag and didn't discover an explosive."

Though no explosives had been discovered, the person was arrested instantly for unrelated excellent warrants and stays in police custody.

The person's id has not but been launched by authorities.

An investigation is ongoing and police confirmed there may be "no lively menace presently."

IMPD concluded: "Tonight's actions and live performance for CFP will proceed as deliberate."

In response to Indy Star, the group close to Monument Circle was cleared by police for roughly 20 minutes after the bomb menace was made.
