OHL suspends Ottawa 67’s winger Robinson in 8 games for head-to-head battles – Ottawa

Dylan Robinson of the Ottawa 67s has been sentenced to an eight-game exclusion from the Ontario Hockey League for a check to the head.

Robinson received a five-minute major and game offense for the incident that took place on November 19 against the wolves in Sudbury.

The OHL player safety department judged that the primary point of contact was the head of an unsuspecting opponent, and the blow happened after the whistle.

The 19-year-old winger had already been out with a five-match quarantine to start the season, which was due to an incident on October 23 in Kingston.

Robinson, who has six goals and four assists this season, is eligible to return when the 67s host the Oshawa Generals on Dec. 10.
